The simple act of wearing a seat belt is the single most effective way to prevent death and serious injury in a crash. Yet historically, Wyoming has one of the lowest seat belt compliance rates in the country.
Seat belts save thousands of lives each year and increasing their use would save thousands more. Which is exactly what the Wyoming Seat Belt Coalition aims to do. Created in 2015 by Governor Matt Mead, the Wyoming Seat Belt Coalition’s mission is to remind every person in every seat to buckle up on every trip.
By working together to increase seat belt usage, we can protect people from needless death and injury.
Let’s buckle up for life, Wyoming.
